my story, my passion.
Hi! My name is Chelsea Kranz! Thanks for checking out my page.
I have been interested in health, science, and how the body works since I was a teenager. When I went to college, I had intentions of going to medical school. During my senior year of college I changed paths slightly and went to school to become a Physician Assistant. I have worked as a Physician Assistant in the emergency room for the past 14 years. I live in Colorado, and am married with 3 kids.
As you can imagine, working in the emergency room is challenging. The job does fit my personality. However, between a pandemic, plus my own health issues that Western medicine professionals wanted to give me band aids for, I found my way into the holistic sphere.
Unfortunately, I received virtually no training in root cause, preventative medicine or nutrition in PA school. At the beginning of 2023, I decided to go back to school to be a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I graduated in early 2024, and now I’m transitioning my life from a practicing Physician Assistant to that of an entrepreneur opening my own business. I also completed school with Restorative Wellness Solutions to offer testing such as GI MAP to learn more about client’s gastrointestinal health. The health of your gut controls the health of the rest of your body!
I very much believe that what you eat and how you take care of your body significantly impact your overall health and wellness. Do you eat only processed food or take out? Do you sleep only a handful of hours every night? Do you live a sedentary lifestyle? Are you completely stressed from the minute you wake up until the minute your head hits the pillow every night? These are just examples of things that people do every day that can and will lead to physical symptoms of illness that can be treated and prevented with nutrition and lifestyle changes.
Are you dealing with bloating? Constipation? Limited diet and food intolerances? Migraines? Brain fog? Low energy? Heavy periods? Infertility? Heartburn? This is just a beginning of an exhaustive list of things that I can help you with as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. Nutritional Therapy Practitioners are specialists that are trained to help you reach your health goals through diet and lifestyle changes, and sometimes supplements are recommended to help you achieve your goals as well. Unlike my previous career as a Physician Assistant, I do not diagnose or prescribe. In this role, I am NOT functioning as a physician assitant, but rather only an NTP. NTPs make recommendations. Ultimately, you are the one in charge. We also believe in bioindividuality – one size does not fit all. What works for one person may not work for another. I promise to listen to you, your symptoms, and your health goals, and make recommendations that I think will be best to help get you to where you want to be. Nutritional therapy is also not a quick fix or band aid – it takes work and time – as the causes of the dysfunction of your body likely developed over a period of time and therefore will also take a period of time to heal.
